Candi James is an accomplished professional in investor accounting with extensive experience in the mortgage industry. Currently serving as the FVP of Investor Accounting at PENNYMAC since September 2020, Candi previously held leadership roles including VP of Investor Accounting at PENNYMAC and AVP of Investor Services at Mr. Cooper. Candi's earlier experience includes positions as FNMA/GNMA Investor Accounting Manager and Investor Accounting Specialist at Nationstar Mortgage, as well as roles in investor accounting at Capital One, where significant improvements were made to FNMA MBS reconciliation processes. Candi's management background also includes serving as Operations Manager for the Texas Home Buyer Assistance Program and Purchasing/Service Manager at Current Energy. Candi holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Dallas Telecollege.
