Carl Illum

Carl Illum has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Carl started their career as a Loan Officer at PENNYMAC in October 2012 and later transitioned to the role of Sales Manager. In October 2015, they became a Vice President in Consumer Direct Lending and was eventually promoted to First Vice President in June 2016. From October 2020 to April 2023, Carl held the position of Senior Vice President in Retail Production Administration. Currently, they serve as the Executive Vice President in the same department. Prior to joining PENNYMAC, Carl worked as a Personal Banker at Zions Bank from April 2011 to August 2012.

Carl Illum attended Dixie State University from 2004 to 2008, earning an Associate of Arts degree. Carl then attended Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Carl furthered their education at California Lutheran University from 2012 to 2016, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
