Kristen LaFreniere, PharmD

Kristen LaFreniere, PharmD, has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Kristen started their career at Hannaford Supermarkets in 2018, where they served as a Pharmacy Intern until 2019. Following this, they joined Eastern Maine Medical Center in 2014, initially as a Pharmacy Technician and later as a Pharmacy Intern. In 2020, Kristen transitioned to the role of Clinical Pharmacist at the same institution. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Penobscot Valley Hospital as the Interim Director of Pharmacy, and later assumed the role of Director of Pharmacy. Kristen's experience spans various roles, providing their with a well-rounded understanding of the pharmacy field.

Kristen LaFreniere, PharmD, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Husson University from 2012 to 2016. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at Husson University from 2016 to 2020. Kristen also obtained an Immunization Delivery Certificate from the American Pharmacists Association in September 2018. Most recently, in November 2021, they acquired an Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross.
