Courtney Visser has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Courtney began their career as a Recruitment Coordinator at Randstad in 2008. Courtney then moved on to work as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Fernwood Womens Health Club in 2009, followed by a role as an Executive Assistant to the General Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Parramatta in 2010. Courtney gained experience as a Human Resources Manager at Clarion Hotel from 2010 to 2011, and then joined Novotel, Hotel Ibis and Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park as an Assistant Human Resources Manager from 2011 to 2013. Courtney later moved on to hold the position of Human Resources Manager at Mercure Sydney Potts Point from March 2013 to December 2013 and at Novotel Sydney Central from December 2013 to February 2015.

In 2015, Courtney joined Ralph Lauren as the Human Resources Manager for Oceania, a position they held until December 2015. From January 2016 to June 2017, they worked at AccorHotels as a Senior Talent & Culture Manager. Most recently, Courtney worked as an HR Project Lead at Penrith City Council starting from July 2017.

Courtney Visser completed their education with a Masters of Human Resources from the University of Technology Sydney in 2018. Prior to that, in 2011, they obtained a Certificate III in OHS Consultation from TAFE NSW, followed by a Certificate IV in Human Resources Management from the same institution in 2011. Finally, Courtney graduated from Erskine Park High School with a School Certificate in 2002.
