Tricia Hitchen

Tricia Hitchen currently serves as the Western Sydney Community Woman of the Year 2023 at Western Sydney Women and is a Board Member at Panthers Group and Penrith Performing & Visual Arts. In addition, Tricia has held a long-term role as a Councillor and Mayor at Penrith City Council since September 2012. Other significant contributions include being a Westfield Local Hero in 2020 at Scentre Group and serving as a Board Member for The Haven Nepean Women’s Shelter and previously for Penrith Aquatics and Leisure (Ripples) Pty Ltd and St Marys Town Centre Board. Tricia's background also includes serving as Chief Inspector with the NSW Police Force from April 1980 to February 2005, and a directorship at Hitchens Removals and Self Storage from February 2004 to March 2022.
