Eugene YK Chung

Eugene Chung is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Penrose Studios since 2015, and designated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum since April 2022. Prior to these roles, Eugene held the position of Head of Film & Media at Oculus VR from 2014 to 2015 and co-founded Oculus Story Studio, contributing to Oculus VR's acquisition by Facebook for $2 billion. Eugene also served as Director and Executive Producer at Divided Families Film from 2009 to 2014 and had brief tenures in production at Pixar Animation Studios, private equity at Warburg Pincus, and investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Academic credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BSc from the University of California, Berkeley, and studies at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
