Melih Baydar

Melih Baydar has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Melih began their career as an Intern at Great Works in 2012, followed by an Intern role at Aselsan in 2013. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Bilkent University. During this time, they also held positions as a Computer Vision Research Engineer and a Senior Computer Vision Research Engineer at Huawei. In 2021, they began working as a Computer Vision Engineer at Pensa Systems, where they are responsible for proposing and experimenting with computer vision/machine learning projects to improve speed and performance, and integrating solutions into production.

Melih Baydar has an extensive education history. Melih began their studies in 2009 at Hacettepe University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Engineering in 2014. In the same year, they moved to The University of Freiburg, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science. Melih then moved to Bilkent University, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science in 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
