Jimmy McCarthy

Jimmy McCarthy has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Jimmy started their career as an Intern in Derivatives Trading at R Best LLC from June 2017 to December 2018. Jimmy then worked as a 401K Sales Associate at Transamerica from January 2019 to July 2019. Currently, they are employed at Penserra, where they worked as an Equity Trader from January 2020 to December 2022, and is currently serving as the Vice President of Equity Trading since January 2023.

Jimmy McCarthy began their education at Naperville North High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma between the years 2010 and 2014. Jimmy then enrolled at the University of Wyoming and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from 2014 to 2018. Following their formal education, Jimmy obtained additional certifications, including the Series 57, Series 63, Series 7, and SIE from FINRA in 2020. In 2018, they also obtained a certification in Commercial Lending from The Risk Management Association.
