John P.

John P. has extensive work experience in the financial industry. John started their career at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Broker, specializing in fixed income, equities, and derivatives. John then moved on to Bernardi Securities, Inc. where they worked as a Fixed Income Sales/Portfolio Manager, focusing on middle markets and private clients.

After that, they joined Optimo Asset Management as a Principal and Portfolio Manager, responsible for managing portfolios. John then worked at Cabrera Capital Markets, LLC as a Managing Director, and later joined Blaylock Beal Van, LLC as a Senior Vice President.

Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets at Penserra.

John P. started their education at St. Ignatius College Prep from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their high school diploma. John then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1992 to 1995, majoring in Finance/Economics. John P. later transferred to the University of Illinois Chicago and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from 1995 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, John P. obtained various certifications related to the financial industry. In 1997, they acquired the Series 7 - General Securities Representative certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), as well as the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law and Series 65 - Uniform Investment Adviser Law certifications. In 2003, they achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. Later, in 2007, John P. obtained the Series 24 - General Securities Principal certification, followed by the Series 79 - Investment Banking Representative certification in 2010, both from FINRA.
