Wouter Thalen

Wouter Thalen has extensive work experience, starting in 1999 as a Jr. Policy Advisor at VNO-NCW. Wouter then worked as a Dpt. Programme Manager at NUFFIC, a Senior Credit Manager at CannockChase, and a Senior Account Manager/Issues Manager at Lejeune Association Management. In 2006, they joined PGGM as a Senior Policy Advisor Public Affairs, and later became the Head of Public Affairs and a Member of MT Corporate Communication. Currently, Wouter is at Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW), where they have held the roles of Manager Public Affairs and now serves as the Head of Corporate Affairs.

Wouter Thalen's education history begins with their secondary education at Revius Lyceum in Doorn, which they attended from 1985 to 1992. Wouter completed their Secundary Education (VWO) during this time.

Wouter then enrolled at the University of Groningen from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Propedeutic Exam in Psychology. Following this, Wouter pursued their undergraduate studies at the same university from 1994 to 2000, earning a Drs/M.A. degree in International Relations/International Organisations.

In 2001, Wouter attended Leiden University for a period of two years and studied Law. Subsequently, they enrolled at De Baak - Centre for Management Studies from 2007 to 2008, where they pursued a course in Management of Professionals/Leidinggeven aan (eigenwijze) Professionals.

Finally, from 2015 to 2017, Wouter attended Comenius Leergangen, completing the European Leadership Course.
