Hayley Rees

Hayley Rees has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hayley currently serves as a Board Member at WiRL (Women in Retirement Living) since April 2023. Prior to this, they were a NED - Investment and Banking Sub Committee at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from July 2022. Hayley also worked at Pension Insurance Corporation plc, where they held the positions of Managing Director PIC Capital from March 2022 and Head of Investment Strategy from November 2019. Hayley has also contributed to the non-profit sector as a Member of Board of Trustees for Step Together Volunteering from May 2015 until November 2021. Hayley has held various roles at Legal & General, starting as the Head of Direct Investments for Legal & General Retirement from April 2016 until August 2019. Lastly, they have a long history with Barclays, where they held multiple senior positions such as Head Of Specialist Finance, Director Head of Debt Finance Specialist Risk Unit, Director Head of Infrastructure and Structured Project Finance Specialist Risk Unit, and Director Infrastructure and Structured Project Finance.

Hayley Rees has a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance from Guildhall University. Hayley is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Banking, having studied at the Chartered Institute of Banking. Additionally, they have some education in the field of The Role of the Non Executive Director from the Institute of Directors in London.
