David J. Serpa

David J. Serpa is a managing partner and co-president at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors. David brings over 25 of years executive experience driving business transformation and maximizing shareholder value. Prior to joining the firm, he served as managing director at Mentor Partners where he led the management consulting mergers and acquisitions advisory practice while evaluating investment opportunities for the private equity division.

Prior to joining Mentor, he served PRTM Management Consultants (now PricewaterhouseCoopers, PwC) where he conducted operational and technology due diligence, business process outsourcing, and developed business strategies in support of corporate clientele and private equity mergers and acquisitions. David’s ability to analyze business operations, drive business innovation and implement strategy and tactical solutions will help grow the mergers and acquisitions advisory and wealth management business for Pension & Wealth. His experience spans several industries including – manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and aerospace and defense. David earned his B.A. degree from Boston College and his M.B.A. from Boston University Graduate School of Business.

A former soccer player at BC and competitive sailor from Rhode Island, David now spends his time as a professional ski instructor in Sugarbush, Vermont and coach for youth soccer in Charlestown, MA; he is a board member of Charlestown Youth Soccer Association, co-founder of the Charlestown Youth Soccer Development Program and Charlestown Steel United Club Soccer.
