Frederick F. Sears

Frederick F. Sears is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Pension & Wealth Management Advisors and has been in the wealth management business for over 25 years. Mr. Sears was originally trained as a general analyst for an offshore multi-billion dollar hedge fund ran by the co-manager of the precursor to Fidelity’s Magellan fund. Fred has worked extensively with the investing public as well as high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals providing general investment recommendations, customized investment portfolios, commentary on individual stock selections, and broad economic overviews. As a former CIO, Fred helped to design models for a public investment company and was also the sole mutual fund portfolio manager where he achieved a Morningstar rating of 4 Stars* in the large blend category. He has made dozens of television and radio appearances for CNBC, Bloomberg and Reuters and has been interviewed by such noteworthy individuals as Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto, Tyler Matheson and Dylan Ratigan. Mr. Sears has been quoted and interviewed in all of the major financial press and has spoken at many financial conferences as a guest speaker. He attended Brooks School, School Year Abroad in Rennes France and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University.

Fred enjoys helping to support underserved animals in Africa/USA, is an avid photographer and serves on a Council at Joslin Diabetes Foundation.
