Jesper Thor-Jensen

Jesper Thor-Jensen has a diverse work experience, spanning multiple roles and companies. Jesper is currently working at PensionDanmark as the Head Of Compliance, Attorney-at-law, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Compliance Officer and a Compliance Officer at the same company from March 2021 to July 2022 and from August 2017 to March 2021, respectively.

Before joining PensionDanmark, Jesper worked at Nordea Finance as the Branch Region Risk Manager from September 2015 to August 2017. Jesper also worked at Nordea Finans Danmark A/S as a Risk & Compliance Expert from February 2014 to September 2015. In addition, they briefly had a role as an Advokat / Attorney at an undisclosed company in January 2014.

Jesper started their legal career at MAQS Law Firm as an Advokatfuldmægtig / Assistant Attorney in January 2011, where they remained until January 2014. Jesper also worked at the same law firm as a Studentemployee from August 2007 to September 2010.

Jesper Thor-Jensen's education history includes earning a degree in Law from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they studied at Law School from 2004 to 2010. In 2008, they pursued EU-Master studies specializing in EC company and tax law at Mykolas Romeris University. In 2003, Jesper briefly studied French History and Philosophy at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education as a Matematisk student m/ højniveau engelsk at Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium in 2002. In 2013, Jesper furthered their legal qualifications by completing the Advokat / Lawyer program at Advokatsamfundet / The Danish Bar & Law Society.
