Line Schougaard Permin has a strong background in investment management and finance. Line Schougaard started their career at Gudme Raaschou Asset Management as an Assistant Portfolio Manager, where they gained experience in analyzing equity and fixed income and developing complex excel worksheets. Line Schougaard then joined Danske Bank as an Analyst in Leveraged Finance and Corporate Loans before transitioning to PensionDanmark. At PensionDanmark, Line has held various roles, including Investment Manager, Senior Investment Manager, and their current position as Investment Director in Private Debt and Alternative Investments. In their current role, Line is responsible for leading and driving direct lending transactions, credit fund selection, due diligence, and loan documentation. Line Schougaard has expertise in credit investments, acquisition finance, distressed debt, private equity, and M&A.

Line Schougaard Permin has a strong educational background in economics and business administration. From 2005 to 2008, Line attended Selandia CEU in Slagelse, where they obtained a Højere handelseksamen (HHX) degree with a focus on economics. Following this, Line pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, completing it from 2008 to 2011. During their bachelor's degree, they also had an opportunity to study Business/Managerial Economics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. Line further continued their education at Copenhagen Business School, specializing in Finance and Strategic Management, and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from 2011 to 2013.
