As the Vice President of Events and Conferences at The Hollywood Reporter, Curtis Thompson is charged with bringing the brand’s content to life by producing leading industry and consumer-facing events, including THR’s flagship year-end gathering of most powerful women in the industry, Women in Entertainment. In addition to executing best in class events, he also oversees the custom video content team managing partnership programs for advertisers.
Thompson joined The Hollywood Reporter in 2010 where he had the opportunity to oversee events and conferences for THR as well as Billboard. He began his career in New York City as a Promotion Associate at Vogue for three years before transitioning to Condé Nast corporate serving as a Consulting Event Director for six years. Thompson is a graduate of Wake Forest University and resides in Los Angeles.
