Scott Soshnick

Scott Soshnick is the editor-in-chief of Sportico, a digital content platform providing sports industry news, data, insights, strategies, leadership and live media for professionals in the $500 billion sports industry. Prior to joining Sportico at its founding, Scott worked at Bloomberg News, where he spearheaded Bloomberg’s sports business coverage and co-hosted Bloomberg’s Business of Sports radio show and podcast, which he created. He also frequently contributed to ESPN’s Outside the Lines and SportsCenter programs.

Scott joined Bloomberg in 1993 as a reporter and columnist, and was Bloomberg’s national NBA correspondent from 1998-2005, covering breaking news and reporting on all facets of the league. Before joining Bloomberg, he served as an associate producer at WFAN radio in New York, conducting interviews for on-air play and securing guests at the nation’s leading all-sports station.

Scott graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in broadcast journalism.
