Rob Helstrom

Rob Helstrom is an experienced safety and training professional currently serving as the Director of Safety & Training at Penske Logistics since December 2005. In this role, Rob leads a team of safety professionals and recently directed a corporate project aimed at enhancing safe practices in field operations. Previously, Rob worked as a Health and Safety Project Manager, focusing on training and process improvements to enhance safety program compliance and performance. Before joining Penske Logistics, Rob served in the United States Navy, where responsibilities included providing technical training to senior enlisted submarine sailors as a Naval Instructor and overseeing communication functions as an Exterior Communications Specialist. Rob holds a Bachelor's degree in Workforce Education & Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
