Farid Salmanov

Farid Salmanov is a seasoned professional in project management and control, currently serving as the PMC Business Unit Managing Director for the MEA Region at Penspen since August 2021. Previously, Farid held the role of Director of PMO at Penspen (DAR Group) and was the Director of the Project Management Office at SOCAR Türkiye, where responsibilities included overseeing the Project Mercury for Aromatics and PTA. Farid's experience also encompasses positions as Project Control Manager at WorleyParsons, Project Services Manager at BP Exploration, and Senior Project Manager at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. With a strong background in project management dating back to 2004 and an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Robert Gordon University, Farid has demonstrated expertise in leading complex projects in the energy sector.
