Rick Murfet

Rick Murfet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical training and development within the energy sector. Currently, as the Head of Technical Training at Penspen since May 2018, Rick is responsible for the organization and structure of the Training and Competence discipline while managing marketing and delivery plans for courses. Prior roles include Lead Development Specialist at Cadent Gas Limited, where Rick focused on the design and development of technical products, and Planning Manager at Penspen, overseeing service delivery and staff scheduling. Rick has also held positions at E.ON, Develop Training, Advantica, BG Group, and British Gas, contributing to apprenticeship frameworks, quality management systems, and training solutions throughout a progressive career.
