Joe Wall, CPA

Joe Wall, CPA has a diverse work experience. Joe started their career in 2010 as an Accountant at Reilly, Penner & Benton, LLP, where they prepared tax returns and performed audit, review, and compilation services for clients across various industries. Joe also completed fixed price work more efficiently to increase profitability for the firm.

In 2011, Joe joined Penta Technologies as a Business Consultant, managing PENTA ERP implementations and streamlining workflows using integrated software tools. Joe leveraged their financial and cost accounting knowledge to improve customer project margins and drive customer profitability for Penta.

Joe then transitioned to the role of Product Owner at Penta Technologies in 2018. In this role, they focused on developing stakeholder alignment with Penta Product offerings and maximizing value delivered to customers with each sprint. Joe prioritized backlog items to deliver maximum value for both customers and Penta, and made data-informed decisions through experiments and hypothesis validation.

Throughout their career, Joe Wall has demonstrated expertise in accounting, project management, software training, and driving customer profitability.

Joe Wall, CPA completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Joe obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting from 2006 to 2008. Joe then pursued a Master's of Professional Accountancy (MPA) degree in Accounting from 2008 to 2009 at the same university.

In addition to their education, Joe also holds several certifications. In 2011, they obtained their CPA certification from the State of Wisconsin. Joe further obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2019. In August 2019, they achieved the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM™ I) certification from Scrum.org. Joe also holds the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO™ I) certification from Scrum.org, obtained in February 2020. In 2018, Joe attained the KCS V6 Practices certification from The KCS Academy - the Only Authorized Certifying Body for KCS.
