Physical Security Specialist at Pentagon Force Protection Agency

Gary Cox is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in physical security and antiterrorism operations. Currently serving as a Physical Security Specialist at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency since May 2017, Gary previously held the position of Security Manager at HQ AF/SGE and led the AFDW Security Forces Plans and Programs Branch as Chief at the Air Force District of Washington. Gary's foundational experience includes serving as Shift Leader for the 90 Missile Security Forces Squadron, where responsibility included overseeing a team that secured 50 intercontinental ballistic missiles without incident. Academically, Gary holds a Master's degree in Military History from Norwich University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland University College, alongside an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force.
