Joshua Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2003, they started their career as a Mechanic/Welder in the Oregon Army National Guard, where they interpreted schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Joshua then worked as a Welder at Fabrication Products from 2003 to 2006. Joshua joined Ross Island Sand & Gravel in 2006 as a Journeyman Welder, demonstrating expertise in blueprint interpretation and welding various metals. In the same year, they also joined the U.S. Army Reserve, serving three combat tours and holding positions in the military maritime industry. Joshua Smith attended Clackamas Community College from 2003 to 2016, where they received an Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies. Joshua then went on to attend Portland State University from 2013 to 2022, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
