Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for IoT & Connected Products at Pentair, Matthew previously held key leadership roles at Atom Power and Cree Lighting, where they significantly advanced product initiatives, introduced innovative technologies, and improved operational efficiency. They championed the establishment of a smart lighting controls business at Cree and played a pivotal role in delivering mission-critical systems for the Department of Defense. Matthew earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, along with a graduate certificate in Systems Engineering from UMBC, and possesses twelve foundational technology patents in various domains.
