Rebekah (Bek) Aarons

Head of Project Delivery at Penten

Rebekah (Bek) Aarons has been working in the field of project delivery for over 20 years. Rebekah (Bek) began their career in 1998 as an Officer Cadet and Indonesian Linguist in the Australian Army. In 2006, they joined Raytheon Australia as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Manager, where they managed the successful delivery of major system integration projects worth $100 million. In 2012, Rebekah moved to Cover-More Group as a Project Governance Manager, where they managed and improved the Project Governance Framework to ensure it aligned with business needs and demonstrated best practice. In 2016, Rebekah joined BCT Solutions as an Associate Director of Project Delivery, and also worked as an Activity (Project) Manager at RPDE. In 2018, they took on the role of Head of Project Delivery at Penten.

Rebekah (Bek) Aarons obtained a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW - Australian Defence Force Academy in 2004, after studying Politics & Indonesian from 2002 to 2004. In 2006, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Rebekah (Bek) then obtained a Diploma in Project Management in 2007, followed by a Certified Practicing Project Manager from Australian Institute of Project Management in October 2008. In 2011, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Rebekah (Bek) also obtained a Certificate IV in Training & Evaluation in 2012, as well as a Certificate III & IV in Fitness (Master Trainer) from the Australian Institute of Fitness. Finally, in 2015, they obtained a Prince2 Practitioner.
