Nelson Santos

Nelson Santos has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and sales. Nelson is currently working as a Principal Sales Engineer at Pentera since 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Sales Engineer at Pentera - Automated Security Validation from 2020 to 2023. Nelson also worked as a Solutions Engineer at Inpher, Inc. from 2019 to 2020.

Before their role at Inpher, Inc., Nelson had a stint at Splunk where they held two positions. Nelson was a Senior Security Specialist from 2019 to 2019 and a Senior Sales Engineer from 2018 to 2019.

Additionally, Nelson has worked as a Security Engineer at Phantom - Security Automation & Orchestration in 2018. Nelson also served as a Senior Security Operations Analyst at The Blackstone Group from 2016 to 2018.

Nelson started their career at Akamai Technologies, where they held the roles of Senior Performance Engineer from 2015 to 2016 and Senior Security Engineer from 2013 to 2015.

Nelson Santos graduated from Harvard Extension School in 2020, earning an ALB degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) from Offensive Security in 2021 and GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) from GIAC Certifications in 2012. Nelson has also completed multiple online courses and specializations in subjects like TensorFlow, machine learning, and deep learning from Coursera.
