Javier Hernandez

Javier Hernandez, CPIM, has extensive experience in production management and logistics, currently serving as the Manager of Production Leadership Development at Penumbra, Inc. since March 2016, where responsibilities include supervising production lines and mentoring supervisors. Prior roles at Penumbra included Production Manager and Senior Production Supervisor, focusing on operational excellence and team leadership. Javier’s experience in logistics was further developed during tenure as a Logistics Supervisor at Nestlé Waters North America, overseeing a high-volume distribution center. Prior military service in the US Army included key leadership positions such as Company Commander, responsible for logistics operations for a large infantry unit, and Operations Officer, managing supply and maintenance operations. Javier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech, earned in 2010.
