Nicole Doan

Nicole Doan has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Nicole has worked at multiple companies in various engineering roles.

From 2006 to 2007, Nicole worked as a Chemical Engineer Intern at LyondellBasell, where they gained engineering experience in the oil refining industry and identified emission reduction opportunities.

In 2008, they joined The Clorox Company as a Process Engineer I, leading commercialization teams and scaling up manufacturing for new cleaning products. Nicole later became a Product/Process Engineer II, leading research on core technology discovery teams, and finally a Product Development Engineer II, contributing to product innovation for the Brita brand.

In 2012, Nicole moved to Cerus, where they held several roles focused on device development and manufacturing for Class III medical devices. Their responsibilities included leading design reviews, managing manufacturing validations, and collaborating with contract manufacturing partners.

Most recently, Nicole joined Penumbra, Inc. in 2019 as a Director of Manufacturing Engineering. Nicole was later promoted to Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering, where they currently hold the position.

Nicole Doan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
