Pankaj Tiwari

VP, IT at Penumbra

Pankaj Tiwari is the current VP of IT at Penumbra. Prior to joining Penumbra, Pankaj served as the Sr Director of Global Apps at Atmel Corporation from January 2013 to December 2016. In this role, Pankaj led Atmel's digital transformation journey and was responsible for automating the entire platform to communicate and collaborate. Pankaj also played a key role in Atmel's analytical journey, leading the implementation of Tableau for self-service analytics and migrating the data warehouse to a modern architecture. In addition, Pankaj successfully planned and executed a major upgrade of SAP to ECC 6 in just 18 weeks with zero post-production issues.

Before joining Atmel Corporation, Pankaj served as the CEO & Founder of BUmmos from January 2015 to December 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Officer (VP of IT) at Nanosolar from January 2011 to December 2013. In this role, Pankaj was responsible for leading Nanosolar's successful implementation of the Salesforce Sales and Service platform across the globe. Pankaj also consolidated various MES systems and built a platform for B2B exchange with suppliers to reduce data entry and improve visibility in the entire supply chain.

Pankaj Tiwari has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University - East Bay in Management Information Systems & Marketing. Pankaj also has a B Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi in Electrical Engineering. In addition, they have an SCPM from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Project Management and a CAAP from Santa Clara University in Advance Accounting. Pankaj Tiwari is also certified by ISACA as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and by CPA as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Pankaj is also Stanford certified in the Stanford Certified program manager.
