Steve Young

Steve (Russ) Young has extensive experience in production management within the medical device industry, currently serving as Director of Production: New Product Introduction and Systems at Penumbra, Inc. since July 2011. Previous roles at Penumbra include Associate Director of Production for Catheters and various managerial positions. Prior to Penumbra, Steve held production supervisory roles at Nellix Endovascular and Biomerix where responsibilities included training production personnel, interacting with cross-functional teams, and ensuring quality and production goals. Early career positions included manufacturing technician roles at Modified Polymer Components, Johnson Mathey, and Brooks-PRI Automation, contributing to product development and process improvement. Education includes attendance at Leone High School and De Anza College.
