Evelyn Can Vazquez is an experienced professional currently serving as an Engineer I at People First since September 2020. Prior to this role, Evelyn was a Senior Digital Organizer and gained valuable experience at Pomona College from August 2018 to February 2022 as a Smart Start Career Fellow, focusing on early engagement and career development for first-generation and low-income students. Additional roles at Pomona College include serving as a Resident Advisor and Committee Member for the FLI Scholars Community Building Committee, as well as an Office Assistant in the Office of Housing and Residence Life. Evelyn's early work experience also includes a Summer Intern position with Congressman Earl Blumenauer and tutoring with Upward Bound at Harvey Mudd College. Evelyn completed a degree at Pomona College from 2017 to 2021.
