Paris Semansky

Paris Semansky, MCM, serves as the Co-Executive Director of People for Education, a national independent organization dedicated to supporting public education in Canada through research, policy advocacy, and public engagement. Since November 2024, Paris has led initiatives such as The Education Promise, aimed at fostering a national movement for public education advocacy. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Communications and Public Affairs at CAMH, Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Premier, and Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of the Premier of Ontario, where responsibilities covered various educational policies and strategies. Paris has also held positions in public affairs consulting, communications for multiple ministries, and leadership in student advocacy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Communications Management from McMaster University and a degree from King's University College.
