Sharon Ferdinands is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various roles within the education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Communications Manager at People for Education since January 2022, Sharon previously held the position of Marketing and Communication Manager at WBE Canada from March 2020 to January 2022. Earlier, Sharon contributed to the New Education Group - Foundation for Innovation and Research in Education as Communication Coordinator from November 2015 to March 2020 and worked as a Communication Officer for ICLEI South Asia between September 2013 and October 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Communications and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Communications from Leeds Beckett University, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University. Skills encompass communication planning, organizational strategy, social media engagement, and fundraising initiatives.
