Denisa Bultasova

Denisa Bultasova is the Head of Humanitarian Unit and Global Humanitarian Advisor at People in Need since February 2014, contributing to global emergency preparedness and response activities through programme design, capacity strengthening, and the development of tools to enhance programme quality. Previously, Denisa served as the Area Programmes Director for North-East Syria, managing a $15 million programme encompassing cash assistance, food security, and education in emergencies. Earlier roles included Emergency Coordinator, Desk Officer for Nepal and the Philippines, and Acting Country Director during Typhoon Haiyan response. Denisa also worked as Programme Advisor at Humansis, focusing on information management and aid delivery, and held various positions at People in Need starting as a Project Assistant.
