Valentyn Onyshchenko

Valentyn Onyshchenko is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security management and humanitarian action. Currently serving as a Security Manager at People in Need since October 2021, Valentyn has previously held roles as a Security Coordinator Executive and Security Coordinator. Prior to this, Valentyn worked with Polish Humanitarian Action as a Security Officer, Project Officer, and Project Assistant from October 2015 to October 2021. Additionally, Valentyn has a background as a freelance fixer/local producer for various prominent media outlets including The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, and Al Jazeera from December 2013 to October 2015. Valentyn holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Law from The Academy of Municipal Administration, awarded in 2014 and 2012, respectively.
