Adam McConnaughey

Adam McConnaughey is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and social work. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor I at People Incorporated Mental Health Services since February 2016, Adam specializes as an overnight therapist at Anchor House, a group home for women with serious and persistent mental illness. Prior experience includes a clinical social work internship at the Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services, providing individual, couples, and family counseling, as well as a social work internship at FAIR School Downtown, where individual and group counseling were offered to students. Adam's earlier role as a Home Health Aide at Restart, Inc. involved direct service for individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Adam holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Macalester College.
