Angela Gentry

Angela Gentry is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in workforce development and advocacy. Currently serving as a Workforce Development Specialist at People Incorporated of Virginia since October 2021, Angela focuses on the dislocated worker program. Prior experience includes working as a Domestic Violence Advocate at Family Resource Center Inc. from September 2018 to October 2021 and as a Customer Service Representative at Mountain States Health Alliance Sycamore Shoals Hospital from December 2012 to February 2016. Earlier in the career, Angela worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute from July 2005 to December 2012. Angela holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Human Services from Wytheville Community College and has obtained multiple certificates related to human services and health sciences. Angela is an alumnus of Liberty University, having completed studies between August 2019 and May 2020.
