Akanksha Mishra started their work experience in 2007 as an Executive HR at Sunrise Consultancy. In 2009, they joined SPA Capital Services Ltd. as a Management Trainee, where they gained knowledge in various HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, compensation restructuring, employee engagement, and training and development. From 2010 to 2011, they worked at WILL Forum India as an Executive Programs, where they executed the mentoring program for senior women leaders and conducted induction training. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Manager Programs at Forum for Women in Leadership - WILL Forum India, responsible for designing and planning training programs for clients. Since 2012, they have been working at People Matters, starting as a Senior Associate in Special Initiatives and gradually progressing to Head - Communities & HR Lead.

Akanksha Mishra obtained a PGDM in Human Resources Development from IILM- Graduate School of Management, which they attended from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued a B.sc. H.sc (Honors) in Textile at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have additional certifications in the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from FRANKLIN COVEY CO.
