Alison Green

Alison Green has extensive experience in government and protocol, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Commonwealth Protocol and Assistant Secretary for Protocol and International Visits at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet since October 2018. Prior to this role, Alison worked in the Prime Minister's Office as a Senior Adviser for Corporate and Government from September 2015 to September 2018. Between July 2011 and September 2015, Alison held multiple positions at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, including Assistant Secretary for the Ministerial and Parliamentary Support Branch, Senior Cabinet Liaison Officer, and Senior Adviser for Cabinet Operations. Earlier experience includes roles at the Department of Regional Australia, Regional Development and Local Government, as well as the Attorney-General's Department, where Alison held positions such as A/g Assistant Secretary and Director of Ministerial and Parliamentary Services.
