Clerk/admin Assistant - Quality Control

For 65 years, our client has been a vertically integrated manufacturer of quality aluminum containers for the storage and transportation of high-value assets in defense and aerospace sectors. 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Clerk to join our quality control team. In this role, you will assist with various administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and generating and reviewing check sheets. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite, and will be comfortable working on the shop floor.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems.

• Generate and review check sheets to ensure quality standards are met.

• Collaborate with the quality control team to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Spend significant time on the shop floor, assisting with quality checks and inspections.

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of one year of experience in an office/administrative role.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with reading blueprints.

• Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 standards.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility.
