Belinda Tan M.D.

Belinda Tan MD PhD has a diverse work experience in the medical and scientific field. Belinda is currently a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of People Science, a role they have held since 2020. In addition, they are a Scientific Advisor at Apollo Neuro since 2021 and at Seed Health since 2018. Previously, they worked as an Investigator at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since 2014 and as a Dermatopathologist at The Dermatopathology Institute since 2014. Belinda also served as an Advisor at DirectDerm starting from 2013 and as a Board Member at Bexson Biomedical from 2020 to 2021. Notably, Dr. Tan co-founded Science 37 in 2014 and served as the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer until 2019. Science 37 is a clinical research company that focuses on patient-centric telemedicine enabled clinical trials.

Belinda Tan MD PhD received their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Belinda then pursued a dermatopathology fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Following that, they completed a dermatology residency program at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. Belinda also undertook a transitional year internship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Belinda obtained their MD, PhD degree in Medicine, Immunology from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
