Hannah Cushen is a dedicated medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School, pursuing a medical degree from 2017 to 2021. With extensive experience in clinical and volunteer roles, Hannah served as a Senior Research Associate at Hennepin County Medical Center, where responsibilities included data collection for multiple studies. Previously, as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe at Emergency Care Consultants, Hannah provided detailed documentation to enhance patient care efficiency. Volunteer roles include working as a Daytime Early Childhood Development Assistant at People Serving People Inc. and supporting patients at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Hannah's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Biology from the University of Minnesota.

People Serving People is the largest and most comprehensive, family-focused homeless shelter in Minnesota.
