Paul Chapin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Paul started their career in 1981 as the Director of Program Research at Ambassador Programs, Inc. Paul then worked at People to People Student Ambassador Programs from 1987 to 2008, assuming roles such as Senior Admissions Director and Program Director. Paul joined People to People Ambassador Programs as the Head of Admissions in 2008 and later became the Vice President of the Student Travel Group. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at People to People International Student Travel Programs as the Senior Vice President, responsible for enrollments and enrollment management. Paul is currently the Manager for Operations & Staff Development at Spokane Public Library, where they also served as the Community Engagement Manager for the North Region. Throughout their career, Paul demonstrated skills in team leadership, public speaking, community outreach, and cultural programs.
Paul Chapin received their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in Foreign Languages (German) from Whitman College, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. In 1978 and 1979, they also pursued a full-year study in Politics, History, and Psychology at the University of Freiburg in the Federal Republic of Germany.
