Lindsay Kimble Carney is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in digital journalism and newsroom operations. Currently serving as Executive Editor of News and Newsroom Operations Director at PEOPLE Magazine and PEOPLE.com since July 2023, Lindsay previously held the position of Content Director for Entertainment at POPSUGAR from June 2022 to July 2023. Lindsay's tenure at PEOPLE Magazine began in March 2015, where roles included Senior News Editor and Sports Editor, notable for significantly increasing the digital sports vertical's traffic and managing comprehensive coverage of the Tokyo Olympics. Earlier experience includes contributions to UPROXX Media, Us Weekly, and Wenner Media, among others, alongside internships that honed editorial and public relations skills. Lindsay holds a Bachelor's degree in Print and Online Journalism from Elon University, complemented by minors in Leadership and Theatre Arts.
