Meetkumar Patel

Meetkumar Patel has a diverse work experience in the IT and cybersecurity field. Meetkumar started as a Cybersecurity Intern at Aussie Digital Business Systems in June 2020 and worked there until March 2021. During this time, they gained practical experience in cybersecurity. In January 2020, Meetkumar joined TryHackMe as a CTF Player, honing their skills in Capture the Flag challenges. In 2021, they joined CyberDefenders as a CTF Player, where they focused on threat intelligence, malware analysis, PDF, email, and network analysis. Meetkumar then transitioned to Bunnings as an IT Consultant from May 2022 to January 2023, providing IT consulting services. In 2023, they further expanded their experience by joining Peoplebank as an IT Deployment Engineer, specializing in IT deployments. Currently, they are working at GPK Group Pty Ltd as a Technical Support Engineer, utilizing their technical expertise to provide support.

Meetkumar Patel began their education in 2018 at QUT (Queensland University of Technology), where they completed a Diploma in Information Technology. Meetkumar then continued their studies at Holmes Institute, Australia from 2019 to 2022, earning a Bachelor of Information and System in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Meetkumar Patel has obtained several certifications in various fields. In November 2020, they became a Cyberark Certified Trustee and completed the Cybrary Introduction to IT and Cyber Security course. Meetkumar also completed the Amazon Web Services Security Identity and Compliance certification and the Google IT Security: Defense against the digital dark arts course in December 2020. In December 2020, they obtained the ANZ Cyber Certificate from Forage. Meetkumar Patel further expanded their knowledge by obtaining the CompTIA Security+ certification in February 2021.

Most recently, in May 2022, Meetkumar Patel achieved the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification. Additionally, they obtained the World Affairs Conference certificate from the World Affairs Conference in February 2022.
