Thanos Moraitinis

Thanos Moraitinis has extensive experience in various roles within the technology industry. Thanos began their career at Microsoft, where they held positions as a Product Manager and a Lead Product Planner within the Microsoft Office Division Product Planning. Thanos worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2011.

After leaving Microsoft, Moraitinis worked as a Product Management Team Lead in the Cloud Division at SingularLogic for two years. Thanos then went on to establish their own consulting business, Urban.Digital, where they provided strategy, product management, and solution design consulting services to SMBs and startups. Thanos also worked as a freelance trainer, delivering professional seminars on strategy and project management. Moraitinis operated Urban.Digital from 2012 to 2017.

In 2016, Moraitinis joined Viva Wallet as a Viva Nest Manager, overseeing operations within the company. Thanos transitioned to Live Medical Education in 2019, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2021.

Most recently, Moraitinis joined PeopleCert, where they currently hold the role of Digital Products & Growth Director. Thanos also previously served as the Director of Technology Products & Solutions from 2017 to 2021.

Throughout their career, Moraitinis has also been involved in academia, working as a Visiting Lecturer at Hellenic American University. Thanos taught professional seminars on agile project management, product development, and strategy, as well as lectured on various business and IT management topics for MBA and MSI graduate programs.

Thanos Moraitinis received their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens from 1993 to 1997. Thanos then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Strathclyde Business School, which they completed from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Thanos has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Thanos earned the Professional Scrum Master I (PSMI) certification from Scrum.org and completed the Professional Scrum Product Owner certification training from Agility in Mind, both in April 2015. Thanos also acquired the Product-Led Growth Micro-Certification (PLGC) from the Product School in September 2023. Lastly, they pursued Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification training from the Project Management Institute, although the dates of completion are not provided.
