Jose Vargas

Jose Vargas has worked in the tech industry for over 20 years, beginning with founding and serving as CEO of MailCreations.com, Inc. in 2000. In 2007, they co-founded and served as President of HealthCare.com, Inc., a leading health destination on the web. In 2008, they co-founded and served as President of BrokersWeb, which was acquired by VantageMedia in 2011. In 2012, Vargas co-founded and served as Board Member of PeopleFund Inc., BlueKite, and Playspace, the latter of which was acquired by CIRSA a portfolio company of the Blackstone Group in 2020. In 2013, Vargas became a Board Member and Co-Founder of Autoweb, Inc., which was taken private by One Planet Group in 2022. Finally, in 2021, Vargas became a Board Member and Investor of Osigu.

Jose Vargas attended Florida International University from 1998 to 2000. In 2010, they attended Columbia Business School to study Value Investing. In 2018, they completed a Mini Certificate from Real World Risk Institute NYC in Decision making under uncertainty.
