Matias de Tezanos

Matias de Tezanos is an experienced entrepreneur and investor. Matias began their career in 1999 when they founded Hoteles.com, one of the first online hotel reservation sites targeting Spanish speaking internet users in the world. Matias then co-founded ClickDiario Network in 2002, which became the leading advertising network in Latin America. In 2006, Matias co-founded HealthCare.com, a full stack health insurance platform in the US, which was ranked as the #1 INC 500 insurance company in 2019. In 2007, they co-founded BrokersWeb, the leading auto insurance quoting engine in the US, which was ranked by INC 500 as the #1 insurance company during 2011 and 2012 in revenue growth and #20 in the entire country across all categories. In 2011, Matias became the first investor in Summit Powder Mountain, the largest ski-able mountain in the US. Matias also invested in PeopleFund Inc. as Founder & CEO, Diamond Foundry, Getaround, and BlueKite. In 2018, Matias joined Orionis Biosciences as an Investor and Board Director.

Matias de Tezanos studied Classic Guitar at the Conservatory of Music from 1997 to 2001.
