Steve Long

Steve Long has had extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Steve started their career in 1986 at Zimmer, where they held advancing positions in applications development and was responsible for managing PCs, LANs, UNIX, and application support. Steve then joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1996 as the Director of IT, Technical Support, where they built and led a team of over 50 employees and contractors for the enterprise SAP Supply Chain Initiative.

In 1998, Steve moved to Siemens Healthcare, where they held multiple roles, including Director of IT, Emerging Technology, Director of IT, eCommerce Development, VP of IT, Global eCommerce & CRM, and Marketing Director, Global eCommerce Solutions. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic planning, product planning, and managing global teams and budgets.

Steve became self-employed in 2008 as a B2B & B2C eCommerce Consultant before joining Practice Velocity in 2011 as the CTO. In this role, they reported directly to the Owner and CEO and was responsible for strategic planning, product development, and managing a team of up to 25 employees with a budget of $3 million.

Steve'smost recent role was as the Director of Business Development, Retail Health & Interoperability at Greenway Health, where they started in 2014. However, no end date is provided for this role.
