Chris "SparkGuy" Downie has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chris "SparkGuy" co-founded PeopleOne Health in 2019 and currently serves as the Co-founder and Executive Chair of the Board. Prior to this, they were the Founder & CEO of SparkPeople.com, a leading digital health company, from 2001 until 2021. During their tenure, SparkPeople.com gained popularity with over 5 million unique visitors per month. In 2009, Chris also became a New York Times Best Selling Author for their book "The Spark." Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Chris worked at Procter & Gamble as an Accounting Manager for two years. Chris "SparkGuy" also co-founded Up4Sale.com and worked at eBay as a Special Projects Manager. Additionally, Chris had a personal battle with a brain tumor in 2018, which inspired him to help others overcome hurdles and reach their goals.

Chris "SparkGuy" Downie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, where they attended from 1988 to 1994. In 2018, they received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Mount St. Joseph University. The field of study for their honorary degree is not specified.
